Paradoxes of New Zealand p.2
Is it still possible to come back to the self-suficient model of living in the era of post-capitalist global crisis?
How to preserve the local diversity from the new immigrants? Are we even suppose to do that?
One of the actual practice in the natural zones of forests in NZ is to preserve the original species from being destroyed by the exterior ones. In reality, this thinking conducts to massive extension of the trees that are just “not suppose to be here”.. As a result, the landscape might change, but is it for better?
Can we force the nature to go back and repair the consequences of our own actions?
I seriously doubt that this logic might get us to the better world… kill in order to preserve, sounds too dark to me
